    Triumph’s Street Triple would put both of these bikes to shame….much better looking, sounding and performing than bothese two.

    First you need to be sure if you want a 2 cylinder or a 4 cylinder, because the driving is different. I prefer 2 cylinder because I drive more in the city ans in curvy roads. I have the Kawasaki.

    Bigmike 3023, I have the 2009 Candy Plasma Blue. I love this bike. Yes, Kawasaki is coming out with a new color for 2010. It will be black. I believe it will be flat black though. Love it or hate it, it’s still black. Gotta get this bike. So much fun!!

    I prefer the Kawasaki to the Suzuki. The Gladius is nice, but I like the funky styling of the ER-6n. The big downfall is the color as it is for many. It’s not bad, it’s just kind of ehh. But a Kawi rep told me that they are coming out with another color in the US next year. Hopefully black, but we’ll see!

    the daytona is in a completely different class of from these 2 bikes in both cost and performance. A 675 is about $3,500 more.

    no joke. If it came in black i would consider it as a choice. blue is just not for me

    funny named bikes… XD

    Both these bikes are priced low and hard to choose between them.

    I love the Kawa clean lines the twin exhaust pipes coming from the front and how it is tucked under the frame.

    The Suzuki has the proven SV650 motor, sweet frame, very different styling and easier to read display.

    In the end I choose the Gladius because it came in black, when I sat on it it felt solid under me and felt good. Which is the most important thing. And the fact that its naked!

    Different strokes for different folks i guess. The triumph goes for aprx $10,000 in the U.S. Its not just the speed that i like tho. There are so many differences between a naked bike & sportbike. You are also paying for improved ergonomics, handling/suspension, technology, etc. Regardless, as long as you ride, its all good! I personally like the Kawasaki more than the Suzuki, but the Zuk is pretty nice too! i would peobably get a ninja650r before the ER-6r. They’re both based same platform

    The triumph is about four thousand pounds more oops! and if cooler means faster the speed it has aint worth four thousand pounds. I would prefer one each of these two.

    have you seen the 2010 Triumph Daytona 675 Special Edition? WOW! its white with a blue frame too but is much cooler than these bikes..

    LoL !!! – ER-6N looks wicked in black, white, silver, orange or red….Basically all the colors you can’t find in the US. I am being serious though the ER-6N looks better in other colors then the blue we got.

    I bought a gladius brand new and it gives me a reason to get out of bed everyday. Its a really fun and forgiving bike. I may be a 650 twin but it has great performance and much more character than a CBR or GSX-R inline four.

    i like the blue frame with white fairings

    ER 6n

    ER=Emergency Room
    6n=Sixin’=Six feet under

    just go down to your local dealership and set on one. Better yet…. take one out for a test spin. Most dealers have a demo bike to thrash around on.
